I interrupted flipping through channels to watch the end of MSNBC's Important People:2008 countdown and I gotta say, whenever they replay election night there's still a catch in my throat. My heart thumps and my eyes water. I know he's not a panacea, but he's intelligent and thoughtful and that's more than we've got now.

I have a quirk where I don't like to not finish books, even if I don't particularly enjoy them. I simply have to know how the story ends. I've only been able to talk myself out of this peculiarity twice before, and only when I thought by continuing I might actually die of boredom.
